A Brief Introduction to the Personality, Biography, and Achievements of Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi Bafqi
Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Bafqi was one of the mujahid scholars of the 14th century AH, known for his outspoken opposition to Reza Shah. His protest against unveiled women from the royal court entering the shrine of Lady Fatima Masuma (peace be upon her) led Reza Shah to travel from Tehran to Qom, where he personally ordered Bafqi’s arrest after beating him, and subsequently imprisoned him in Tehran.
