Hawzah News Agency- Indian cleric Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mohammad Zaki Hassan has highlighted the pivotal role of religious media in strengthening Islamic unity and spreading the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them).
In an exclusive interview with Hawzah News Agency during his visit to Iran, the advisor to the Islamic World Network and editor-in-chief of Jafari Observer magazine said the world today “awaits a nation that stands on the path of truth with honesty and perseverance,” a quality he said is most evident among Shiites.
He stressed that the faith and devotion of believers to the Imam of the Time (Peace Be Upon Him) unites Shia communities across the world, giving them spiritual strength and resilience in the face of challenges.
Calling on preachers and scholars to present the “true and rational face of Islam,” he said, “Islam must be introduced as a religion of reason, justice, and compassion. Wherever prejudice and ignorance prevail, the understanding of Islam is lost.”
Referring to the power of modern communication, Hojatoleslam Zaki Hassan said today’s media environment has become “the most important arena for shaping public opinion and global culture.” He urged seminarians and religious figures to be active in digital platforms alongside traditional pulpits.
“The language of our media must be the language of honesty and wisdom,” he noted. “If a scholar speaks with sincerity and moral authority, the world will trust his words.”
He also praised Hawzah News Agency for its credibility, saying it has earned global trust by providing “reliable, documented, and truthful reporting — the most valuable asset of any media institution.”
