Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Second International Conference on Comparative Ethics Studies in Islam and Christianity, Al-Seddiqi stressed that dialogue among religions is essential for identifying shared moral principles and fostering empathy. “We are witnessing people of diverse faiths coming together for the oppressed in Gaza, and this unity is influencing leaders and youth worldwide,” he said.
He noted that differences of opinion are natural, and the path to harmony lies in emphasizing commonalities. “Religious diversity is part of divine wisdom; efforts to impose a single religion go against this principle,” he added.
Al-Seddiqi underscored that interfaith dialogue is a vital tool for global peace, fostering mutual understanding, eliminating ignorance, and promoting balanced societies. He praised the conference for advancing ethical culture, strengthening empathy between communities, and paving the way for scientific and cultural collaboration between universities and international institutions in the field of ethics and religion.
