Speaking to Hawzah News Agency, Hojatoleslam Hadi Shojaei, a faculty member at the Imam Khomeini Institute’s Department of Political Science, said the “intelligent and multi-layered strategy” of the resistance has successfully trapped the Israeli regime in a security deadlock and a psychosocial crisis.
“Objective data show that the resistance’s dual strategy — to trigger internal collapse from within while intensifying global pressure from outside — has entered a phase of practical effectiveness,” he explained.
Shojaei pointed to alarming reports emerging from within Zionist society, citing analysts such as Lior Ben-Shaul of Yedioth Ahronoth, who has warned of an “existential earthquake” shaking the foundations of the Zionist project.
“The current crisis is not merely political or security-related; it represents the collapse of the regime’s long-standing myth of invincibility,” he said. “Indicators such as the growing emigration of citizens, rising property sales, and increasing requests for foreign residency all reflect a profound loss of confidence within Israeli society.”
On the international front, Shojaei said the exposure of the Zionist regime’s moral and security vulnerabilities has severely eroded its legitimacy in global public opinion. “Even Zionist analysts now admit that the resistance’s victories on the battlefield have destroyed the illusion of Israel’s military superiority and opened the door to challenging the false historical narrative of Zionism’s victimhood,” he noted.
The scholar added that this shifting global discourse has accelerated the regime’s isolation while fueling its internal fragmentation. “The more internal erosion intensifies, the weaker its international standing becomes — and the greater its isolation abroad, the deeper the domestic collapse grows,” he explained.
Shojaei concluded that what the world is witnessing today is not a temporary political crisis, but the onset of the structural decline of an illegitimate regime. “By accurately identifying and targeting the regime’s vulnerabilities, the resistance has effectively set in motion the irreversible process of its downfall,” he said.
