Hawzah News Agency- In a note published in the Zionist newspaper Ma’ariv, Caspit wrote: “Who would have believed that the Al-Aqsa Storm would, after two years, generate a global political wave, leading 142 countries – including Israel’s main ally – to vote for recognition of an independent Palestinian state earlier this week?”
He further noted that October 7, described as the greatest disaster for the Zionist regime since its establishment, may eventually become remembered as the day marking Palestinian independence. Caspit stressed that the responsibility for the current situation lies with Netanyahu and his political partners.
Britain, Australia, and Canada officially recognized the State of Palestine on Sunday, September 21, in what has been described as a historic step reflecting the widening divide between Western countries and the Zionist regime.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer declared that London’s decision was aimed at reviving hope for peace. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also emphasized Ottawa’s commitment to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state since 1947 in his announcement of recognition. Meanwhile, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed Canberra’s decision to officially recognize the “independent and sovereign State of Palestine.”
