Importance of Salawat on Thursday Afternoon

Hawzah News Agency- Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:

إِذَا کَانَ یَوْمُ اَلْخَمِیسِ عِنْدَ اَلْعَصْرِ أَهْبَطَ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَلاَئِکَهً مِنَ اَلسَّمَاءِ إِلَی اَلْأَرْضِ مَعَهَا صَحَائِفُ مِنْ فِضَّهٍ بِأَیْدِیهِمْ أَقْلاَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ تَکْتُبُ اَلصَّلاَهَ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ آلِهِ عِنْدَ غُرُوبِ اَلشَّمْسِ.

When Thursday afternoon arrives, Allah—Mighty and Majestic—sends down angels from the heavens to the earth. In their hands are scrolls of silver and pens of gold. They record the peace and blessings (salawat) sent upon Muḥammad (pbuh) at the time of sunset.
