Hawzah News Agency- Abul-Hassan Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ali Asad Al-Asady narrated that Umar ibn Abi Qaylan al-Saqafy and Isa ibn Suleiman ibn Abdul-Malik al-Qurashi narrated from Isa ibn Suleiman ibn Abdul-Malik al-Qurashi, from Abu Ibrahim al-Tarjomani, from Sa’ed ibn Sa’id al-Gorjany, from Nah’shall ibn Sa’id, from Al-Zah’hak, from Ibn Abbas that The Holy Prophet (pbuh) said:
أشراف أمتي حملة القرآن وأصحاب الليل
The most noble of my ummah (community) are the bearers of the Qur’an and the people of the night.(1)
(1)Commentary: This is most likly to mean that most honorable of the Holy Prophet's (pbuh) community are those who memorize, preserve, and live by Qur'an; and those those devoted to night prayer.
