Hawzah News Agency- Speaking in an interview, Mahmoudi said hostility from Europe and the United States toward Iran dates back to the early days of the Islamic Revolution, and Friday’s resolution once again revealed their true and self-serving nature. “They are willing to do anything to secure their interests. Our nation must remain aware and know that Westerners and Americans have never been, and cannot be, trusted,” he stressed.
The seminary scholar added that such resolutions are aimed at weakening Iran’s regional and global position, but their projects will ultimately fail. He pointed out that Europe’s talk of sanctions and threats, including the so-called snapback mechanism, is designed to influence public opinion in Iran and must be confronted with vigilance and a correct understanding of global politics.
Mahmoudi emphasized that sanctions are nothing new for the Iranian people, who have faced unprecedented economic restrictions since the Revolution. He concluded that the latest move was carried out in support of the Zionist regime and will end in failure. “According to divine promise, the true front will be victorious, and this act will remain a source of disgrace for Europeans and Americans,” he said.
