The Ahlul Bayt Assembly of Kenya marked the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with a grand celebration filled with joy, spiritual reflection, and remembrance of the Prophet's exalted teachings.

Hawzah News Agency- the ceremony was held at the Hazrat Zainab Seminary in Kirigiti, Kiambu County, drawing a gathering of believers committed to honoring the Prophet's birth and keeping alive their love and devotion to his noble person.

During the event, attendees reflected deeply on the life and mission of the Holy Prophet—the Messenger sent as a mercy, guidance, and illumination for humanity. His message, centered on compassion, unity, brotherhood, and the guidance of humankind, formed the core theme of the gathering.

A Celebration Rooted in Faith and Reflection

The atmosphere throughout the ceremony was one of profound spirituality, as worshippers recited praises and poetic compositions in honor of the Prophet, known as Madih and Qasida, echoing through the seminary halls. The program featured scholarly lectures examining the Prophet's timeless legacy and its relevance to contemporary challenges facing the Muslim Ummah.

Religious scholars emphasized that the Prophet's life offers a complete model for personal conduct, family relations, and social harmony. They called on the faithful to embody his teachings of mercy and justice in their daily lives, noting that the commemoration of his birth serves as an annual renewal of commitment to his path.

Unity and Solidarity on Display

The gathering also served as a powerful demonstration of community solidarity, with believers from diverse backgrounds coming together in shared devotion. Organizers stressed that such occasions strengthen bonds among the faithful and reinforce the collective identity of the Shia community in Kenya.

"This blessed occasion reminds us that the Prophet came to unite hearts and eliminate divisions," one speaker noted. "Our presence here today is a testament that his message continues to inspire generations, transcending time and place."

Commitment to Prophetic Teachings

The event concluded with prayers for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah worldwide and a renewed commitment to integrating the Prophet's teachings into everyday life. Participants expressed hope that the spiritual energy of the occasion would translate into greater service to community and society.
