Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Abdullah ibn Ja’far al-Homayry, from Harun ibn Muslim that Mus’adat ibn Sadaqah said:
سئل جعفر بن محمد عليهما السلام عن الحديث الذي جاء عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله "إن أفضل الجهاد كلمة عدل عند إمام جائر" ما معناه؟
- قال: هذا على أن يأمره بقدر معرفته وهو مع ذلك يقبل منه وإلا فلا
Imam Sadiq(pbuh) was questioned about the meaning of a hadith from the Holy Prophet (pbuh) that says:“The best Jihad(striving in the path of Allah) is a word of justice before a tyrannical ruler.”
- He said: ‘It is on the condition that one commands him (with justice) according to the extent of his knowledge, and that the ruler accepts it from him; otherwise, it is not required.
