Hawzah News Agency- The historic ceremony, held in the Prophet’s Courtyard of the shrine, brought together mourners from across Iran and abroad who joined in collective lamentations led by eulogists and reciters of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). The elegies were performed from elevated platforms in keeping with the tradition of Chaharpayeh-khani, a Shia ritual passed down through generations.
Addressing the participants, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Javad Nezafat underlined that true obedience to the Prophet (PBUH) requires aligning one’s thoughts and goals with his. He described the Prophet as “a physician for the soul and spirit of humanity, and a healer of both individual and social problems.”
He further highlighted the Prophet’s humility, forgiveness, and compassion, saying: “Despite his high rank, the Prophet (PBUH) was always the first to greet others and never showed arrogance. Many family and social problems today stem from arrogance, while the Prophet taught us humility and kindness.”
Nezafat also noted that the Prophet (PBUH) raised companions like Abuzar and Miqdad in a society dominated by idol worship and harshness, solely through patience, tolerance, and moral guidance.
