Hawzah News Agency- In a condolence message, the team said Farshchian’s works — including The Evening of Ashura, The Guarantee of the Deer, and the designs for the holy shrines of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and Imam Reza (peace be upon him) — have secured him a unique place in the historical and artistic memory of Iran.
“His lasting legacy will remain eternal not only in the Astan Quds Razavi Museum and art collections across the globe, but also in the hearts and souls of the Iranian nation and admirers of culture and art,” the message read.
The statement praised Farshchian as a master who bridged Iranian-Islamic art with faith and culture, bringing beauty and spirituality to audiences far beyond Iran’s borders.
On behalf of the Iranian art community, the Visual Arts Leadership Team expressed condolences to his family, students, and admirers, praying for divine mercy and patience for his survivors.
“May his soul be filled with mercy and his works remain a beacon for future generations,” the message concluded.
