Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to Hawzah News Agency, Ayatollah Kabi highlighted the strategic importance of the “media jihad,” calling for the unified efforts of domestic and international media to form a strong front against the Zionists and global arrogance.
“One of the most important arenas for confronting the Zionist regime is the media battlefield,” he said. “Islam is the religion of logic, expression, and wisdom. As a nation of reason, we seek justice, progress, peace, and the realization of fairness in international relations. We neither oppress nor accept oppression.”
Ayatollah Kabi praised the performance of Iran’s national media in leading the revolutionary media front but stressed that broader participation is essential.
“Although our national media has effectively taken the lead, it is not enough. Every Iranian—inside the country and abroad—must act as a messenger, using powerful and articulate language to broadcast the truth and isolate the Zionist and arrogant powers globally.”
He outlined ten key axes for strengthening the revolutionary media movement:
- Empowered National Media: An intelligent, articulate national media is essential for exposing Zionist crimes and fortifying the domestic front. Ayatollah Kabi honored the memory of journalist martyrs who gave their lives in this cause.
- Boycott of Hostile Media: He called for a religious and strategic boycott of foreign media outlets that demoralize the Iranian public. Instead, he urged the formation of "Mujahid" and revolutionary media campaigns.
- Avoiding Harmful News Circulation: The dissemination of debilitating news and sensitive information must be avoided to protect national morale and confidentiality.
- Modeling after Journalist Martyrs: The media should take inspiration from the courage and sacrifice of journalists who gave their lives defending the truth.
- International Media Mobilization: A regional and international media front, using major global languages, must be established beyond state-run efforts to include nations and media activists.
- Celebrating Victories: Widespread publication of triumphs and enlightening narratives is necessary to strengthen the national spirit and morale.
- Governance of Cyberspace: Describing cyberspace as an open battlefield, he called for its regulation in accordance with wartime conditions to prevent enemy infiltration.
- Role of Seminaries and Academia: Ayatollah Kabi praised the joint efforts of seminaries and universities in forming a "clarifying communication" front that educates and mobilizes society.
- Influence of Public Figures: Popular personalities—including athletes, artists, and influencers—should use their platforms to promote national unity and support Iran’s armed forces.
- Harnessing Artistic Power: He stressed the role of visual arts, poetry, theater, and cinema in spreading messages of resistance, hope, and patience, highlighting the need for a culturally rich media offensive.
“The revolutionary media front, led by national media and strengthened by all segments of society, can pave the way for ultimate victory against the criminal Zionist regime,” Ayatollah Kabi concluded.
