Hawzah News Agency – Baghdad, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi, Secretary General of the Iraqi Nujaba Movement, has issued a firm condemnation of the recent Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, denouncing it as a coordinated attack with U.S. involvement and a violation of Iraqi sovereignty. He called for an immediate and complete withdrawal of American forces from Iraq and the broader region.
In a public statement, al-Kaabi warned that the Zionist regime’s strikes—conducted with the backing and coordination of the United States—represent not only an attack on Iran but also a direct affront to Iraq’s territorial integrity. He stressed that these actions must not go unanswered and urged decisive resistance in the face of continued foreign interference.
“The repeated violations of Iraqi airspace and sovereignty under the guise of security partnerships cannot be tolerated,” he declared. “The presence of American forces in Iraq is no longer justifiable and must come to a complete end.”
Al-Kaabi praised Iran for its steadfast support of resistance movements across the region, especially during critical periods such as the fight against the ISIS terrorist organization. He recalled Iran's role in defending Iraq when international and regional powers either ignored the threat or actively supported extremist factions.
“Iran stood by us when the American-Zionist project took shape in the form of ISIS,” al-Kaabi said. “While some Arab states and Western countries financed and promoted this terror, Iran stood with Iraq and the resistance.”
Positioning Iran as a symbol of Islamic strength and defiance, al-Kaabi described the country as “the embodiment of Muhammadan Islam” in the face of global oppression and injustice.
In a direct message to Israel and its allies, he warned: “Zionist arrogance will ultimately lead to its own destruction. You have launched attacks against a people who follow the path of Imam Hussein (PBUH)—a nation that does not fear martyrdom and views sacrifice as the highest honor.”
He concluded by offering his deepest condolences to the families of the Iranian martyrs, the people of Iran, and the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, affirming his solidarity with the Islamic Republic in the wake of this aggression.
