Hawzah News Agency – Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ostovar Maymandi, Head of the Social and Political Affairs Office of the Seminaries, has issued a strong warning in response to the Zionist regime’s recent attacks on Iranian residential areas. Citing statements by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, he emphasized that the Zionist regime will face a “bitter and painful fate” for its actions.

Following the deadly airstrikes that resulted in the martyrdom of a number of senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and innocent civilians—including women and children—Hujjat al-Islam Ostovar spoke with Hawzah News Agency correspondent and delivered a stern message on behalf of the seminary community.

“The Zionist Regime Is on the Verge of Collapse”

Referring to the deteriorating internal and external standing of the Zionist regime, Ostovar said: “This is a regime that is teetering on the brink of collapse. In desperation, and with full backing from the United States, it has launched a criminal assault on Iran. The deliberate targeting of residential areas reveals the true, brutal nature of this illegitimate regime.”

Enemy Miscalculated Iran’s Restraint

Discussing the recent military operations by Iran under the "True Promise" initiatives, he noted: “After the violation of Iranian airspace by the Zionist regime in November, last year, the Islamic Republic demonstrated strategic restraint. The enemies misinterpreted this restraint as weakness. In reality, today our armed forces are at the pinnacle of their historical strength.”

“A Bitter Fate Awaits the Zionist Regime”

Quoting the Supreme Leader’s message issued after the attack, Ostovar reiterated: “As Imam Khamenei stated, a bitter and painful fate undoubtedly awaits the Zionist regime. Their crimes will not go unanswered.”

He further highlighted a recent major intelligence breakthrough:

“The devastating blow dealt by the anonymous soldiers of Imam Mahdi (PBUH), which resulted in the exposure of millions of confidential documents, has greatly expanded the operational scope of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces. The Zionist regime, through its reckless behavior, has effectively opened the gates of hell.”

Call for National Unity and Backing the Armed Forces

In his concluding remarks, Hujjat al-Islam Ostovar underscored the importance of internal unity:

“Now more than ever, the Iranian nation—including the seminary and university communities—must stand in full solidarity with the armed forces. Guided by the Supreme Leader, the people will remain firmly united. The Zionist regime has no future, and it will face the firm and just response of our forces.”
