Hawzah News Agency – Abu Alaa Al-Walai, Secretary General of the Iraqi resistance group Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades, has issued a strong warning regarding the potential outbreak of military conflict in the region. In a statement, Al-Walai declared that, should war erupt, the resistance forces are fully prepared to respond, and the consequences for U.S. military presence in the Middle East would be severe.
“If war breaks out in the region,” he stated, “hundreds of our martyrdom-seeking fighters are ready to enter the battlefield. In such a case, America will once again be forced to retreat in humiliation, just as it did when it withdrew from Iraq following its military defeat.”
Al-Walai claimed that any new conflict would mark the end of American and allied military presence in the Middle East. He further asserted that regional governments supported by foreign powers would face collapse as resistance movements gain momentum.
He concluded his statement with a firm declaration of confidence: “Ultimately, this battle will end in favor of the resistance front, and victory will belong to God and His faithful servants.”
These remarks come amid rising tensions and increased speculation about the possibility of broader regional conflict, prompting concern among international observers.
