Hawzah News Agency- In a statement published on X social network on April 18, 2025, Abu Alaa al-Walai, Secretary-General of Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades, condemned the US airstrike on the port of Ras Issa in Yemen, calling it another example of the US’s aggressive and genocidal policies.

Referring to the martyrdom of dozens of innocent civilians in this attack, he said, “Another barbaric crime has been committed by the criminal American forces in the port of Ras Issa, and as a result, dozens of innocent Yemeni people were martyred.”

Al-Walai further assessed this aggression as similar to the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip, adding,” The obvious similarity between the characteristics of this massacre and the crimes in Gaza indicates the complete agreement between the American and Zionist occupiers on the principle of destroying nations without any legal or humanitarian considerations.”

The Secretary-General of Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades concluded by emphasizing,” We are confident that the noble Yemeni nation, with patience, courage and faith, is stronger and more resilient than any aggression. God has equipped this nation with the power of endurance, and this blessing will guarantee their victory against any occupation.”
