Hawzah News Agency- the Third International Quranic Meeting in Tehran was held with the participation of representatives from 22 countries in the scientific, cultural and artistic fields related to the Holy Quran.
In a special part of this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, appointed Dr. Hamed Shakernejad as the "Quranic Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran" through a decree. This appointment, which was made based on his scientific and Quranic background, emphasizes the importance of strengthening international interactions in the field of Quranic education and is considered an effective step towards enhancing the global position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of spreading the culture of the Holy Quran.”
Another important event of this meeting was the official announcement of the establishment of the "Quran Assembly of the Islamic World". This institution, which is formed within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has the mission to provide areas for interaction, coordination, and development of Quranic discourse by bringing together Quranic representatives of Islamic countries and prominent scientific and cultural figures.
This council will also work towards the formation of a unified Islamic nation and the spread of Quranic knowledge, and will play a key role in strengthening cultural and religious ties between Muslim communities.
