Hawzah News Agency- the Representative of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Javad Shahrestani has had a meeting with some members of the Secretariat of the International Conference of Allameh Mulla Abdullah Behabadi Yazdi (RA). The cleric expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the Conference Secretariat, and further emphasized the importance of introducing great academic figures and made points regarding activities related to the revival of the works and introduction of these prominent scholars.

At the beginning of this meeting, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani quoted a hadith, saying, “May Allah bless you all with success”, your efforts in the secretariat will lead to the revival of a great scholar such as Allameh Mulla Abdullah Yazdi and his introduction to contemporary society.”

He continued to say that Mulla Abdullah Behabadi Yazdi, despite his comprehensiveness in the transmitted and rational sciences, is still unknown to Islamic societies and even many seminaries; everything we know comes from the past and we are the heirs of their knowledge and scientific endeavors. “

“Unfortunately, we have done little in introducing such figures and it is essential to take further steps towards introducing and reviving their legacy.” Hujjat al-Islam Shahrestani concluded.
