Hawzah News Agency- in a speech on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Jesus (PBUH), Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi addressed the topic of the “Eastern Prophet.”

“The prophets, great religions, and moral reformers, including the great prophet Jesus (PBUH), whose religion the Westerners usually follow, all originated from the East; Jesus (PBUH) was born in the city of Nazareth in northern Palestine and began his call to Christianity from there.”
