Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the tenth webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue", Fatemeh Sorayya, called for the abolishment of colonialism which has re-emerged in the western countries under the title New Colonialism.

She said,” America and England are two countries that are always involved in the Middle East conflicts”, condemning Washington for pushing many countries to support the Israeli regime’s genocidal war in Gaza.

She noted that Muslims could take several measures in a bid to end the western hegemony and colonialism the first of which is becoming an intelligent generation of Muslims saying,” This will help us to understand what is going around us and will stop being defeated by Western countries.”

She added that a brave and principled generation will also help Muslims protect themselves.

The Muslim thinker urged Muslims to tightly hold to the fraternal ties among themselves and said,” By boosting our fraternal relations, we could not be easily divided.”

The Indonesian elite, made the remarks in the online section of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".

The second part of the annual event has been scheduled to be held in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21.

The conference is annually held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
