The Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement stated, "No party can impose on us how to manage the Rafah crossing. Now The US has become part of the problem, and the electoral benefit of the White House requires that it reach an agreement in Gaza."

Hawzah News Agency- Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Mohammad Al-Handi spoke about the latest developments in Gaza and the ceasefire negotiations, saying,” The US has not put any pressure on the Zionist regime in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations. Netanyahu does not want to reach an agreement either.”

He added,” We consulted with Hamas about what happened in the Cairo negotiations, and the national position is the same as what Hamas stated in Cairo.”

Al-Handi went on to say that mediators are expected to put pressure on Israel. We believe that Netanyahu's adherence to the Zionist military remaining in the Philadelphia axis is political, not a matter of security. The Egyptian side has also opposed Israel's stay in the Philadelphia axis.”

“Rafah crossing is an internal issue of Palestine and no party can impose its management on us. The US has now become part of the problem, and the White House's electoral advantage demands that it reach a deal in Gaza.”

Al-Handi noted that movement between the north and south of the Gaza Strip should be free for Palestinian citizens. Israel's control over the axes is an excuse to maintain control over the movement and life of the residents of the Gaza Strip. The Zionist regime has withdrawn from the clauses of the agreement that were presented earlier to achieve the political goals of the extremists.

The Deputy Secretary General of Islamic Jihad also said that technical teams without Hamas representatives are present in Cairo, while the issue is not technical at all. The resistance wears out the Israeli army with its daily operations and forces it to withdraw from Gaza. The achievements of the resistance in the Gaza Strip will protect the West Bank.
