Hawzah News Agency- Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon Sheikh Naim Qassem said at the mourning ceremony of Hazrat Aba Abdallah al-Hussein (peace be upon him) held at the headquarters of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council of Lebanon,” Today with the support of the Southern Front, we are fighting for three human, national and patriotic benefits.”

Sheikh Qasim further stated that the humanitarian interests are that we stand against the genocide against humanity that is recognized by the world, and every human being should stand against the genocide with all the abilities he has.

He added, "At the national level, we are facing Israeli occupation against our brothers and sisters, and Palestine is the main center where Quds and noble people are located, and therefore we are trying to support Palestine."

The senior member of Hezbollah pointed out that Resistance is a reaction to the occupation and to drive it out of the region including the country of Lebanon and Palestine, and it was never a reason to enter the occupation, because it caused that resistance in the first place.

Sheikh Qassem stated,” Resistance is a point of strength to Lebanon and liberated it after 22 years of occupation since 1978; after 18 years of occupation in 198, it was the resistance that gave Lebanon independence and freedom.”
