Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Shubair Maithami, Secretary General of Pakistan Shia Ulema Council and, has had a meeting with Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Committee for Crescent Sighting, in Karachi. In this meeting, both religious leaders expressed deep concern over the current situation in Pakistan and stressed the need for joint efforts against sectarianism and extremism.
The Vice Chairman of the National Solidarity Council of Pakistan also stated in this meeting that all Muslims of all sects and religions should unite and cooperate for the security and development of Pakistan. We should put aside differences and come unite with each other by considering common Islamic values.
During the meeting, both scholars discussed and exchanged views on practical measures to strengthen unity and solidarity among Muslims. They also agreed to promote moderation in religious schools, educate the younger generation about correct Islamic teachings, and spread the message of peace and brotherhood among people.
