Hawzah News Agency- with the efforts of the clergy community of Baltistan in cooperation with Baltistan congregations and organizations, a commemoration ceremony for Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi was held on the occasion of the 40th day of his death in Hosseiniya Baltistaniyeh Qom, in which a large number of clerics, students and pilgrims participated.

In this ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Ali Tohidi, head of Najaf Sekardu community, and Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Zafar Shah Naqvi gave a speech.

Referring to the services of Late Ayatollah Mohsen Najafi, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Tohidi said, "The late author wrote many books, including Kowsar Quranic Interpretation.”

He further said,” Ayatollah Najafi worked hard to spread the religion of Islam and did services beyond racial and religious prejudice. For this purpose, he printed 60,000 volumes of Ma'ali al-Sabatin's book and sent them to different libraries in Pakistan.”

He stated,” Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi built 600 mosques and 11,000 houses and distributed them among the poor and needy. He built the Medina Ahl al-Bayt residential complex in the city of Sekardu, where only 400 houses and 2 thousand people live in this residential complex, and they are provided with food, electricity and water for free.”

Hujjat al-Islam Tohidi pointed to the other activities of the deceased and added,” the establishment of Islamic Propagation Institute and the system of Osweh public schools is also one of his valuable services. So far, 25,000 students have graduated from Osweh schools and 50,000 students are currently studying.”

The director of Sekardu community considered the establishment of Jamia Al-Kowsar and Ahl al-Bayt seminaries as an important chapter in the career of Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi and said,” These two academic centers were established in 2005 and 2008, respectively. And so far, thousands of students have graduated from these schools, and they themselves have dozens of students. The list of services and achievements of that pious scholar goes on and I have witnessed most of his services and achievements.”

Referring to the success of the deceased, he said, "That Quran commentator had a high position and rank intellectually. It is interesting that he did not study in Najaf for more than 6 years, But he has done great scientific work in a short period of time.”
