Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqub Zakzaky, the leader of Shiites in Nigeria, traveled to the holy city of Qom on Monday, January 22 with a delegation in order to meet and talk with the religious scholars in Qom.

His travel plans in Qom have started this morning with a visit to the Holy Shrine of Lady Masuma (PBUH).

Sheikh Zakzaky's plans include meeting with religious authorities, directors of seminaries, and meeting with African students residing in Qom.

In view of the revival of Tehran-Abuja relations in the 13th government, the leader of the Shiites of Nigeria traveled to Iran in October and has followed various meetings and programs in Tehran and Mashhad.
