Hawzah News Agency- Reverend Dariavosh Azizian, in an interview with Hawzah News in West Azerbaijan province of Iran, condemned the insult to the Holy Quran and Islamic holy things in Europe, and said, "it is not the first time that some people in Europe have Insulted the holy things, especially Islamic sanctities, but it has also happened before by French Charlie Hebdo magazine and other western publications and politicians with Quran burning and etc.”

He added,” These acts and insults are not accepted by the Christian community in any way, because our religious teachings and the Holy Bible respect the religious sanctities of all religions and people, and of course this insult to the holy Quran is not only an insult to Islam, but an insult to all heavenly religions, which is rooted in divisive political plots.”

The priest of East Assyrian Church of Urmia, stating that the Bible does not allow insulting any person or group, added,” these blasphemous actions are aimed at dividing the Islamic nation and the Christian nation and igniting division in the world; we strongly condemn such actions.”

He further pointed to the recent action of the European Union against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and stated,” The Revolutionary Guard Corps is one of Iran's trusted and leading armed forces and always present in all situations; Both during the holy defense period and after that, the IRGC was involved in the protection of the country's borders and the development of beloved Iran, and has put in a lot of effort.”
