While strongly condemning these atrocities, the seminaries call the international institutions to do their duty and ask all the scholars, believers and Muslims to use all their legal capacities to condemn such hateful acts and we expect those in charge in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to act decisively and through legal channels. It takes the necessary measures to prevent its repetition.

Hawzah News Agency- the management center of Iran’s seminaries issued a statement signed by Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, head of Iran’s seminaries to strongly condemn the insult to Holy Quran and demanded the international institutions to prevent such inhumane actions against holy sanctities.

The Holy Quran is the last divine book that guarantees the prosperity and happiness of mankind, which invites humanity to the most direct and sustainable ways with rationality and clear reasoning, and the comprehensiveness of its plans frees man from any tendency to excess, weakness, and arrogance.

Unfortunately, this guiding book has been insulted and attacked from time to time by those who have been powerless against the arguments of this divine word. This kind of grudges and hate-mongering by the miscreants and fools throughout history is undoubtedly a sign of their weakness and desperation against the strong and solid logic of the Quran and the shining lights of divine guidance; Such blasphemous acts hurt the feelings of millions of Muslims, monotheists and believers in the holy books, especially the Holy Quran. it is clear to everyone that this type of negative and blind atrocities which are far from ethics and logic will not reach their sinister goals in the international arena. Rather, it brings unity and cohesion among Muslims.

Alireza Arafi

Head of Iran’s Seminaries
