Hawzah News Agency- Senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli had a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Ashrafi Esfahani during which he stated,” The late Ayatollah Koleini narrated a hadith from the beloved Prophet of Islam that God should not separate people from their bread, if there is a gap between people and their bread and butter, there will be no attention paid to the religion. Economy is the bread and butter of the country, and it’s hard for people to observe their religious beliefs without having their economic needs take care of.”
He continued,” In Persian, a person whose pocket is empty is called a beggar; the word beggar has no scientific meaning, the Holy Quran mentions such a person with the name "pauper", pauper means someone whose spine is broken and does not have the strength to rise up. A nation whose pockets are empty will not have the power to rise up, so the officials should try to solve the nation's economic problems.”
The Shia source of emulation further noted,” In one of the luminous prayers of Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, it is stated that God grant us the opportunity to have “Hosn al-Walayeh” and not "Sou al-Walayeh"; Hosn al-Walayeh means good management, good responsibility, it means that a person can manage well those who are subordinate and under his command. Everyone is a kind of governor in his field of work. God willing, due to the huge resources available in Iran with good management, the problems of the society will be solved as soon as possible.”
