Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Rashid Kouhestani, the scientific secretary of the review session of the book "Salafi-Takfiri Current" at the Shia Center of Qom Seminary, cited the statements of the Iranian supreme leader regarding the danger of the Salafi-Takfiri movements for the Islamic world, expressed the need to familiarize with such discussed topics especially for Shia scholars.

Hujjat al-Islam Liyali, the author of the book, while referring to the topics discussed in this book, stated the necessity of discussing currents, the lack of written sources about the Salafi-Takfiri movement, the answers to the questions of the educated class about this movement, as the main reasons for writing this book.

Then, Hujjat al-Islam Eskandari as a critic of the book, while pointing out the editing of the book in the form of questions and answers as an important advantage of the book, stated that not mentioning the history of Salafism in Iran during the Safavid era, not mentioning the role of Zionism in the creation of Wahhabism, incomplete introduction of the Salafi-Takfiri leaders are among the criticisms of the book.
