Seminary scholars and the researchers participating in the Congress of Trustees met and talked with Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, one of Iraq's great sources of emulation.

Hawzah News Agency- Grand Ayatollah Bashir Najafi, in a meeting with scholars and seminary teachers participating in the Congress of Trustees in Najaf on Tuesday, October 18, appreciated the efforts made in introducing the scientific works of great scholars, and considered the Najaf seminary as the blessing of the holy shrine of Amir al-Moumenin (PBUH) and said,” The knowledge of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) derives from this threshold and has been and will be exported to all parts of the world, and scholars trained in this valley of light should be introduced to the world.”

Appreciating the research carried out in various fields in Qom, he considered the development of scientific discourses in the two major seminaries of Qom and Najaf and other Shia scientific centers as a necessity for unity in dealing with the world's issues.

Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi emphasized the significance of encyclopedia of scholarly works and considered these works to be the result of years of research and said,” By compiling such encyclopedias, future generations will realize the greatness of science and the tradition of scholars.”

At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat al- Islam Eskandari, the Secretary of the Trustees of Amna-ul-Rasul Congress, gave a report of the activities carried out and said,” The main goal of the Secretary of this Congress is to introduce Shia educated scholars and their scientific works and moral and mystical qualities, as well as their behavior to the outside world and to demonstrate useful knowledge and spirituality.”

Appreciating the spiritual support of Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, Hujjat al -Islam Eskandari called for the scientific interactions of Shia seminaries, especially the seminaries of Najaf and Qom, for holding this congress, and noted,” with the development of scientific interactions, new chapters of current issues and the needs of seminaries today will be characterized.”
