Hawzah News Agency- at the opening ceremony of the new academic year in Islamic Seminary which was held at Faculty of Religion and Media in University of Broadcasting in Qom, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki referred to the blessed verse 44 of Surah Al-Furqan and stated,” It should be known that the identity of every society’s Culture builds that society, and of course, culture is created through media, while every media must have a cultural support.”

Explaining that social culture is a set of values that society likes or dislikes, he added,” Just as every human has a personality for himself, every society also has a unique personality that should be taken into consideration.”

The member of the Iranian Assembly of Leadership Experts also said that the media is the most important factor to promote culture and said,” Since the engineering of societies is the responsibility of the media, there is no doubt that the survival or decline of societies also relies on the media.”

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Araki added,” More than 95% of Iranian women wear hijab, and therefore other women should respect the rights of these people.”

"Freedom is justified in the private environment, but the social environment, such as the university and the stadium, belongs to everyone and general rules must be respected." He added.

A member of Qom seminary teachers' society concluded by saying,” It should be known that social culture is the property of society and has its own identity, and we must respect this culture and identity.”
