Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Mehdi Najm, in the first national conference "Biological War; Nature, Dimensions, Consequences and Solutions" in Al-Ghadir Hall in Damghan city stated,” Seminaries are usually known as a general cultural center and it is a place where students study and only learn the rules and Quran, while this is only a part of the work; Therefore holding such conferences indicates the main activities of the Islamic seminaries.”

Saying that the activities of the seminary students are not limited to cultural activities, the director of the Women Seminary in Semnan province said,” The students of both women and men seminaries have serious and noble activities in the scientific fields.”

He added,” Students in seminaries are active in 3 sectors: education, research and culture, and most of the people know only the third section of the Islamic seminary, i.e. cultural activities, whereas the mission of seminaries is not only limited to the cultural field.”

Hujjat al-Islam Najm further pointed out the efforts and scientific endeavors of students, including men and women, in seminaries and added,” female students, like male students, also have serious scientific activities in seminaries.”
