Hawzah News Agency- Custodian of Lady Masuma (PBUH) Holy Shrine Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Saeedi had a meeting with Hassan Sharifi, the CEO of Iran Insurance Company, which took place in the Holy Shrine. During the meeting Ayatollah Saeedi stated that providing security in various dimensions is one of the constant concerns of mankind and added,” All societies, whether reformed or corrupt, need security and there is no human being who does not favor security.”

Referring to the importance of the security issue for the country's economic conditions, he said,” Just as people are sensitive to their national security, officials should not say anything that undermines the country's economic security and reduces the desire for economic work and investment.”

At the beginning of this meeting, Hassan Sharifi, CEO of Iran Insurance Company, stated,” Iran Insurance Company is the only state-owned company in Iran’s insurance industry. It was established in 1935 and accounts for more than 33% of the entire insurance industry.”

He further stated that according to the performance of the past years and the problems that arose in the insurance of oil tankers and oil exports, Iran's insurance remains state-owned, and said,” We will do our best to promote the culture of insurance among the people and government institutions. If we provide better insurance services for people, we will see the growth of the insurance industry in coming years.”
