Ayatollah Arafi pointed to the developments of the media center and Cyberspace of the seminaries and expressed,” The media center for cyberspace at the seminaries has a huge responsibility, despite the shortcomings compared to the great media field, it still has a long way to go; We should strengthen the media that are effective outside of the seminary circles which can promote the name, title, and content of the seminary.”

Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi made some remarks at the end of the meeting for the provincial directors of Islamic seminaries in Iran on Wednesday, August 17. He appreciated the participation of the managers of the provincial seminaries and thanked all those involved in the organization of this meeting and stated,” to express views, criticize and present new points of views will be effective in revising and fulfilling our future plans in Islamic Seminary.”

A member of the Supreme Council of Seminaries, stating that the publication of the seminary should be equal to the most important publications of the country and the world, noted,” The first step in the activities of ‘The Research Institute for the study of seminary and clergy’ in order to review and implement strategic plans related to the issues of the country serve as an indicator that it provides the basis for strategic studies focused on the issues of the society and the clergy.”

He pointed to the developments of the media center and Cyberspace of the seminaries and expressed,” The media center and Cyberspace of the seminaries has a heavy responsibility, despite the shortcomings compared to the great media field, it still has a long way to go; We should strengthen the media that are effective outside of the seminary circles that promote the name, title and content of the seminary.”

The head of the seminaries emphasized the importance of reviving old manuscripts of the seminary and reminded,” Western countries have looted the manuscripts of the great works of Islamic civilization at the cost of hundreds of millions of dollars, causing great damage to the science, knowledge and culture of Muslim countries.”

Ayatollah Arafi considered the international arena as a vast ocean for seminary activities and acknowledged,” new horizons have begun in the interaction of the Islamic Seminary with the other religions and the international arena; therefore, the seminaries are on the path of growth and development.”

The head of Iran’s Seminary further stated,” Qom seminary has been the focus and axis of huge changes in the history of seminaries, there is a need to pay more attention to seminary identity formation by expressing and representing present capacities in order to promote them.”
