Hujjat al-Islam Mofatteh, head of Hamburg Islamic Center, met with Ayatollah Arafi and they discussed the ongoing issues relating to European Muslims.

Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi had a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh, the head of Hamburg Islamic Center on Monday, August 15 in Qom. While praising the activities of this center in establishing cultural and religious relations, Ayatollah Arafi mentioned the anti-human actions of a small number of anti-moral thugs in disrupting the religious rites of European Muslims. He pointed out,” Inhumane anti-Islamic act and insulting religions is condemned and rejected by all the free people of the world.”

The head of Iran’s seminaries condemned the recent insults of a group of detractors against the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT); He considered such evil actions against any human, moral and human rights standards.

Top Shia scholar described this heinous acts not only as disrespect to the Quran and Islam, but also as an insult to all holy books and divine religions and stated,” It is necessary for all rights seekers, thinkers and those interested in human rights, especially the officials of Germany to condemn this anti-human act and adopt an appropriate reaction to such mercenaries who are conspiring against human rights.”

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Arafi emphasized the importance of activating and utilizing the elite capacity of local Muslims and noted,” Pursuing agreements and memorandums of cooperation between seminaries and Islamic centers of the world will play a significant role in improving the religious culture of societies.”

Later on in in this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Mofatteh, Head of Hamburg Islamic Center presented a report on the cultural activities of the Hamburg Islamic Center during Muharram Month and noted,” This year we witnessed an indescribable participation of Ahl al-Bayt devotees and their acceptance of religious events during Muharram.”

In the final part of his speech, the head of the Hamburg Islamic Center elaborated on the sinister conspiracies against Islam in disrupting religious relations in European countries and stated,” a few self-proclaimed thugs intended to disrupt religious ceremonies and insult the Holy Qur'an; but with the religious tact and wisdom of the Muslims of Europe, it was overturned and the Islamic assemblies and councils of Europe issued statements against this anti-human act and violation of human rights.”
