Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi and his delegation met with European Shia scholars from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Turkey in the Islamic Center of Hamburg on Wednesday, June 8.
During the meeting, the director of Islamic seminaries praised the efforts of the Shia clergy in promoting the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and conveyed the message of respect and appreciation from Shia sources of emulations as well as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to European missionaries.
The head of Iran’s seminary continued to report on his meeting with Pope Francis, calling the trip a good opportunity to develop interactions with the Catholic World.
In his speech, Ayatollah Arafi referred to some important developments and programs of Islamic seminaries and commemorated the 100th anniversary of the revival of Qom Seminary and elaborated on some new developments in the field of knowledge and science in seminaries.
At the end of the meeting, Shia scholars and professors living in Europe had a cordial conversation with Ayatollah Arafi and expressed their suggestions and views related to promoting religious propaganda in Europe, and the director of seminaries answered their questions.
