Hawzah News Agency- The 63rd anniversary of the demise of Shia Grand jurist, Grand Ayatollah Hussein Tabatabai Boroujerdi, was commemorated on Thursday in the presence of various groups of the people in the Grand Mosque of Qom.

In this ceremony, which was held in the presence of Ayatollah Husseini Bushehri, Head of Qom Seminary Teachers Association, and a group of scholars and different segments of the people, the speaker of the ceremony paid attention to the outstanding scientific, moral and spiritual characteristics of the late Ayatollah Boroujerdi.

Hujjat al Islam Hussein Ansarian, answering the question why late Ayatollah Boroujerdi became a world leader noted, after the demise of this grand Shia jurist, people in five continents of the world held memorial services and the United Nations as well as many other embassies lowered their flags to half-mast to show solidarity with Muslim world.

He stated that late Ayatollah Boroujerdi, from the beginning of his adolescence, did not allow anyone but God Almighty in his pure and faithful heart and added how one can expect to be regarded as a servant of God with a heart full of evils and moral vices.

In the end, Hujjat al Islam Ansarian paid attention to Ayatollah Boroujerdi's noble character and emphasized his simple life and unique sincerity and said, He trained seminary students including Late Imam Khomeini, leader of the Islamic revolution with his pure soul and his path of piety and added that Late Ayatollah Boroujerdi should be considered as a role model for all scholars and clerics.
