Hawzah News Agency –A conference was held to explain the elements required for achieving a New Islamic Civilization with the participation of Pakistani scientific, cultural and religious figures, and the speakers at Iran’s Cultural House in Peshawar.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the conference was attended by Mehran Eskandarian, head of the Iranian Cultural House, Dr. Fakhr al-Islam, Director of the Pakistan Studies Center at Peshawar University, Aref Hossein Al-Husseini, and a group of scholars, university professors and Persian language students.
The head of the Iran’s Cultural House in Peshawar, while explaining and evaluating the factors needed for achieving the New Islamic Civilization, said the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, being inspired by the noble aspirations and thinking of Imam Khomeini (RA) has talked for the first time about the concept of a New Islamic Civilization by using all potentials of the Muslim countries to form a unified Ummah.
He added that the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has interpreted the progress and development of the Islamic system as" the New Islamic Civilization" and has said about its meaning and essence. the New Islamic Civilization means all-out progress and if we seek an objective example for such civilization, we can refer to the Islamic Revolution of Iran as the corner stone of the proposed civilization.
Eskandarian said, therefore, the New Islamic Civilization means comprehensive progress, we can refer to a set of customs, beliefs, traditions, Islamic sciences and common material and spiritual resources among Muslim nations.
Mehran Eskandarian said Ayatollah Khamenei has sought the help of all academics, seminarians, researchers and scholars to achieve the New Islamic Civilization, adding that today we have come together under this motto to take a small step in this path of service to the Islamic Ummah.
Dr. Rashid Ahmad, Vice President of the Islamic Center of the University of Peshawar, for his part said the question of New Islamic Civilization, should be considered to include all nations and races of Islamic world, and because it was raised by a high-ranking Iranian official let us not limit a particular race and nation, while the personality of the Supreme Leader of Iran, like the subject of the New Islamic civilization, belongs to the whole Islamic world.
He went on saying that that Islamic Civilization began with the Holy Mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and has overtaken the two great civilizations of Rome and Iran. The rich civilization of Iran after the arrival of Islam in Iran has created a new civilization in the sense that in addition to cultural affiliations, customs, etc., has also strengthened the civilization of Islam.
Allameh Abed Hossein Shakeri, while appreciating the efforts of people in Charge of Iranian Cultural House in Peshawar Iran for holding this conference and also various other programs in order to bring various Islamic schools of thought closer to each other, said all the tricks of Western civilization have been revealed thanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran and following the unveiling of its true nature by the late Imam Khomeini (ra), today Western civilization has neared its end.
He stressed that as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei has said the contradictions of Western civilization have shown over time and today is the turn of Islam that all Muslim nations must strive to achieve a New Islamic Civilization.
Other speakers addressed the importance of the New Islamic Civilization and wished health and long life for the Supreme Leader of Iran, who is a valuable assets for the Islamic world.
