Hawzah News Agency –On the occasion of the demise of the noble scholar Ayatollah Sayyid Razi Shirazi, Imam Khamenei issued a message of condolence. The text of his message follows.

I offer my condolences on the demise of the noble scholar Ayatollah Haj Sayyid Razi Shirazi (may God's mercy be upon him). He was a descendent of the great vanguard of Islam and the Shia faith, the religious scholar who fought against colonialism in the 14th century AH (19th century AD), the great Mirza Shirazi. I offer my condolences to the Tehran Seminary, his students, admirers, the great Shirazi household and especially to his honorable family. I ask God to bestow His forgiveness and mercy on him and to raise his status.
