Hawzah News Agency- According to reports by U.S. officials, the cost of military operations against Yemen has surpassed $1 billion in just three weeks, highlighting a serious logistical and operational crisis and contrary to the threats and media narratives pushed by the Trump administration—the new aggression on Yemen is now being widely regarded as a “strategic quagmire” for the United States.

The magazine National Interest stated in a report that Yemen's Armed forces have cornered the US into a strategic deadlock, leaving “no favorable options'' for Washington.

The report warns that prolonging this situation undermines America's global standing and describes a potential U.S. withdrawal from the Red sea as a ''strategic retreat'', comparable to the defeat in Afghanistan.

The Atlantic magazine, in an expert analysis, warning that the U.S. aggression in Yemen could ultimately turn into a ''scandal'' for Washington due to the “lack of a clear strategy'' and the Trump administration's dismissal of historical lessons, all of which have demonstrated that every previous military campaign against Yemen has ended in failure.

The report concluded that this latest failure could carry profound consequences and might be recorded as a ''historic victory” for Yemen.
