Israeli forces rounded up a Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his house in Dheisha refugee camp, south of the southern West Bank.

Hawzah News Agency –Israeli forces Friday overnight detained at least four Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, according to local and security sources.

They said that Israeli forces rounded up a Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his house in Dheisha refugee camp, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The soldiers forcibly entered another house in the Bethlehem city neighborhood of As-Saff and two others in Husan village, west of the city, went inside and searched them, turning them upside down.

In Jerusalem, Israeli police detained a 17-year-old teen from Ras al-Amoud area in Silwan neighborhood, as reported by the Wadi Hilweh Information Center.

In the northern West Bank, the sources confirmed a similar raid in Kafr al-Labad village, east of Tulkarm city, resulting in re-arresting two former prisoners, a father and his son.

Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
