Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad - Iran) - The closing ceremony of the 12th International Razavi Book of the Year Festival was held in Sheikh Tabarsi auditorium of Astan Quds Razavi’s Islamic Research Foundation in a limited way and in accordance with the coronavirus protocols.
As for health concerns, the ceremony was held in the presence of Hoj. Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, some members of the festival’s faculty plus a number of domestic winners with no foreign participants due to travel restrictions.
The ceremony paid tribute to the winners in different categories. In the first part, with the subject of printed books focusing on Razavi sciences and knowledge, Encyclopedia of Imam Reza (AS) volumes 2 and 3, by a group of authors and with the scientific supervision of Hoj. Yaqub Ali Borji from Qom, and Religions of Khorasan in the Era of Imam Reza (AS) by Dr. Mohsen Sharafaei and Ali Akbari Chenari, in the field of history and Razavi conduct were praised.
Astan Quds Razavi; Trustees and Vice-Trustees by Mohammad Sohanian Haqiqi and Reza Naqdi; and History of Astan Quds Razavi Guesthouses by Sohrab Pour-Mohammad Taqi Jafarabadi from Mashhad were honored in two areas of pilgrimage, shrines and sacred places.
Moreover, in the section of printed books focusing on Quranic sciences and tradition, Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Ali Khademi from Mashhad was honored with 6-volume collection on the Jurisprudence of Traditions of Imam Reza (AS) and His Noble Progeny.
Mahdism in the Razavi Teachings, which was sent to the festival by the Specialized Center of Mahdism in Qom, was one of the winners of this festival in the field of psychology of social and educational sciences.
Imam Hadi (AS), a Life Full of Miraculous Jihad by Hoj. Musa Danesh and the four-volume collection of the Sun of Imamate to Travel With by the AQR Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs were appreciated in the field of translated and printed books.
In the section of printed books with the focus on culture and literature, the works Closest to Moses When in Mount Sinai by Seyyed Ali Shojaei; Simia by Saeed Tashakkori; “H” by Itrat Ismaili and In My Dreams by Maryam Rahi from Tehran were selected.
In the field of culture and literature, Seventh Gate of Heaven (Collection of Poetry) by Mohammad Reza Abdi, Smell of Paradise, Book 7 of Poetry Collection by Astan Quds Razavi Institute of Artistic Creations, Interpretation of Sigh a collection of religious poems by Mohammad Hossein Malekian and Petals: Shards of Chest Beating volume 2 by Reza Moayyed from Mashhad were chosen.
Lady of the Moon; A Narrative of the Life of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh by Sara Erfani and The Story of Presence by Mohammad Taqi Ekhtiari from Tehran, Monday Rain by Hoj. Abbas Sohafi from Mashhad, Guest of Mirrors for Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) by Akram Hashemipour, Fill the Pocket of the World with Butterfly by Saeed Hashemi and Freedom Heroes by Naeema Aqanouri from Mashhad were also introduced as the winners in children and teenagers’ section.
On the subject of the discourse of the new Islamic civilization, the statement of the second step of the revolution, the four-volume collection of the new Islamic civilization with the focus on the views and thoughts of the Revolution’s Leader by Hoj. Ruhollah Saeedi Fazel, and From the Islamic Revolution to Islamic Civilization: An Approach to the Statement on the Second Step of the Revolution by the AQR Youth Institute were introduced.
In the second section of the festival, with the theme of digital and audio books, The Wisdoms of Nahj ul-Balaghah in English translated and commented by Hoj. Hossein Ansaripour from Mashhad were selected for this period of the festival.
Furthermore, in the third section with the subject of university and seminary dissertations in the doctoral program, Psychological Analysis of the Conduct of Imam Reza (AS) and Presenting a Model for Lifestyle by Dr. Mohammad Reza Lavasani from Qom University of Religions & Denominations and An Analysis of National Security Fundamentals of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Light of Soft Power and Cultural Identity by Dr. Rostam Eidipour from the University of Isfahan were selected.
In the fourth part of the festival, with the theme of unpublished works, Imam Reza (AS) in the Light of the Most Authentic Traditions of Pilgrimage by Daniel Mahzoon from Pakistan was chosen.
In the fifth section with the subject of active publishers, Madrasa Publications, run by Hamid Reza Shahabadi from Tehran; Javad Hashemi from AQR Deputy Office for Islamic Ideology Dissemination from Mashhad and Cultural Foundation of Hazrat Mahdi (AS) managed by Ahmad Masoudian from Qom were among the winners.
In the sixth section, with the subject of research and promotional journals, Razavi Cultural Scientific Research quarterly, owned by the Imam Reza (AS) International Cultural and Artistic Foundation under the management of Mahmoud Reza Barazesh Shayesteh were chosen.
In the seventh international section, the award for the best written or untranslated works in the living and popular languages of the world on the main theme of Imam Reza (AS) and his family, was presented to Al-Itra Institute, the most active foreign publisher of Islamic sciences and Razavi knowledge, for printing and distributing 350,000 books in 250 titles in local languages of East Africa and also for translating, printing and distributing the Holy Quran in Rwandan language for the first time.
