Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Ayatollah Muhammad Hussein Ahmadi Faqih had an interview with Hawzah News on demise anniversary of late Ayatollah Boroujerdi, one of the most prominent Shia scholars.

Praising the scientific stature of Late Ayatollah Boroujerdi in Islamic seminaries, the cleric asserted, "One of the key characteristics of late Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi was his comprehensive mastery over different scientific and religious subjects including philosophy."

The seminary lecturer added, "In terms of international affairs, late Ayatollah Boroujerdi always sought strengthening unity among all Islamic sects and preserving Muslims’ dignity."

"The victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution was certainly result of Late Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s efforts in training knowledgeable religious scholars in Shia seminaries; late Imam Khomeini (ra) who led the Islamic Revolution was among the Ayatollah’s best students."
