"Supporting the poor, Ayat. Sistani's main concern"

, Representative of Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani in Europe said, "The first step initiated by Ayatollah Sistani's order was to register the names of Iraqi martyrs who have fought in battle grounds against enemies. Al-Ain institute was founded by Grand Ayatollah Sistani to help the less fortunate."

Hawzah News Agency (London, UK)Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mutadha Kashmiri attended the meeting held in Al-Ain institute in London on Sunday, April 16 during which he asserted, "The issue of helping the less fortunate and the poor has always been a major concern to Grand Ayatollah Sistani both before and after the ISIS (or Daesh) terrorist attacks on Iraq. The first step initiated by Ayatollah Sistani's order was to register the names of Iraqi martyrs who have fought in battle grounds against enemies so that future generations will never forget their sacrifices; this way, the organization is also able to provide services to the families of Iraqi martyrs."

 

"More than 50 thousand orphans plus 35 thousand refugee families have been supported by Al-Ain institute so far. The organization has also established some educational centers to give these people the necessary professional instructions in order for them to get jobs in future. They have also been offered health care by Al-Ain institute."

 

The Shia cleric further added, "Al-Ain institute also sends these families to visit Shia Imams' shrines in Iraq in an effort to relieve the sadness these orphans feel in the absence of their martyred fathers."

 

"We also prepare the ground for the young members of the institute to get married; In order to do that, first we need to put them through necessary instructions to get a job and support their families financially."

 

"The office of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Najaf, Iraq is responsible to take care of the wounded soldiers of the popular mobilization forces  in the country." Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri concluded.
