Hungarian Ph.D. student converts to Islam at Imam Ridha (as) Holy Shrine

A young Hungarian Ph.D. student of Austria Innsbruck University converted to Islam in the Razavi Holy Shrine.

Hawzah News Agency - According to Astan News, ChristopheKwach, a Ph.D. student at Austria InnsbruckUniversity, embraced Islam as his religion.

“I am a Ph.D. student at Innsbruck University majoring in geoinformatics, a branch of geography and construction engineering and currently I am teaching in Germany Brandburg Cottbus University,” he said.

“I am originally Hungarian, born in a Catholic religious family and studied in Catholic school. Once in my life I found the opportunity of studying and considering the cultural values of Islam and also the acquaintance with my wife prompted me to do research on Islam more seriously and precisely,” he continued.

“I am very happy to convert to Islam in this spiritual place and I regard Islam as a gift from God since I am feeling a special tranquility by becoming a Muslim; I am eager to confer such a tranquility also to my friends by propagating Islam,” he pointed out.

Referring to the Quranic chapters of ‘Maryam’ and ‘Hujurat’ he continued, “Chapter Hujurat contains many ethical advices that lead mankind to real prosperity, and surah Maryam points to learning the Holy Quran from other sacred books.”

“I try to read the Quran in English and learn how to pray and fast and fulfill Islamic instructions completely,” he asserted.

It is notable that at the end of this ritual, the Muslim convert was awarded the Islamic conversion certificate and some blessed gifts by the Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi.
