Hawzah News Agency- Mohsen Esmail Sagharji, head of the organization's office in Iraq, said the anticipated turnout reflects the close ties between the Iraqi and Iranian peoples.
He said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi's recent visit to Iraq included discussions with Iraqi officials on logistical arrangements and coordination for the pilgrimage.
Sagharji added that Iran plans to deploy around 3,000 service processions (mawakib) in the holy shrine areas during Arbaeen. He also said the governors of Najaf and Karbala have pledged fuel allocations and other logistical support to help the Iranian processions serve pilgrims.
