Hawzah News Agency- He said that nearly two months ago, a special committee was established in Qom to oversee the funeral procession and funeral prayers of Rahbar Shaheed (RA), and it has been actively carrying out its responsibilities since then.
The governor stated that six working groups and 27 specialized committees have been formed to ensure the ceremonies are organized efficiently and smoothly.
He added that the funeral procession is a completely public event, while government institutions are responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure. Therefore, security arrangements, healthcare services, support for mourning processions (Mawakib), provision of essential supplies, and coordination among various government departments have all been incorporated into the planning.
The governor further explained that the funeral prayer is planned to be held along the route from Boulevard Payambar-e-Azam (PBUH) to the Holy Jamkaran Mosque. (The final route and details will be announced after official approval.) The ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 5:00 a.m. to ensure they conclude before the day’s intense heat.
Approximately 1,700 Mawakib will provide services throughout the city. Special arrangements have also been made to host foreign guests, particularly male and female students of Al-Mustafa International University.
