Hawzah News Agency- Delivering this week's Friday sermon in Nahavand, Hojatoleslam Mohammadi emphasized the role of piety in human dignity, stating that true piety is not merely a matter of words but manifests itself in action. A pious person, he said, is one who places their eyes, ears, tongue, and all faculties in the path of divine satisfaction.
Referring to the philosophy behind the blessed title of "Reza," the Friday Prayer Leader noted that some had mistakenly assumed this title was given to the eighth Shia Imam due to his acceptance of the crown prince position. However, Imam Jawad (PBUH) rejected this notion, clarifying that the title was bestowed because God was pleased with him in both the heavens and the earth. He described Imam Reza (PBUH) as the channel of divine satisfaction.
Highlighting the lofty status of teachers and the role of Martyr Morteza Motahhari in expounding Islamic thought, Mohammadi stated that Martyr Motahhari serves as a complete role model for educators. He was a figure who, upon sensing that eclectic and deviant currents were seeking to capture the minds of university students, undertook an intelligent migration from the seminary to the university.
He emphasized that a teacher is a trustee of people's lives and time, adding that if today's society witnesses committed officials and specialists, it is the product of the tireless efforts of pure-hearted teachers from past decades. He further noted that the works of Martyr Motahhari, even after several decades, remain fresh, vibrant, and problem-solving for the younger generation.
Analyzing the enemy's schemes to strike at the Islamic establishment following the martyrdom of its late leader and Resistance Front commanders, Mohammadi said the enemy had designed a five-phase scenario. In the first phase, they assumed the establishment would collapse within days. The second phase sought ground operations by separatists in the west and arrogant powers' movements in the south. In the third phase, the Zionist regime and the United States entered the arena with false claims of having destroyed Iran's naval and air capabilities. However, he noted that the current fear of their aircraft carriers to approach Iran's maritime borders serves as the best response to these lies.
Underscoring the irreplaceable role of popular presence in neutralizing the "Broken Iran" conspiracy, the Friday Prayer Leader explained that the enemy's ultimate goal was to create social disobedience and focus on livelihood crises in order to shatter Iran's strength. Yet, the conscious and passionate presence of the people over the past two months, like a steel shield, thwarted all these plots. These gatherings, he said, which symbolize Hussaini fervor and wisdom, prevented the enemy from achieving its sinister objectives.
Hojatoleslam Mohammadi warned against factors that could dishearten the people, urging officials and political figures to guard against hollowing out public morale with ill-considered remarks. He cited the lack of precise market oversight and negligence regarding people's livelihoods as vulnerabilities that could undermine popular participation.
Referencing the strategic message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the occasion of Persian Gulf National Day, Mohammadi declared that the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz are strategic assets of the Iranian nation. As the Supreme Leader has emphasized, the management of this sensitive region lies in Iran's hands, and this marks the beginning of a new order in the region.
He stated that Iran shares a common destiny with the regional nations and believes the future of the Persian Gulf will be free from the presence of foreigners and will serve the welfare of the region's peoples.
Stressing the non-negotiable nature of the nation's defense and nuclear capabilities, Mohammadi asserted that nuclear technology and missile power are the national asset of 90 million Iranians. On these achievements, which guarantee Iran's security, there will be no negotiations with the enemy. He concluded emphatically that Americans must know they have no place in the Persian Gulf, and their insistence on remaining will only make their costs heavier.
