Hawzah News Agency- Dr. Miraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, a renowned Sunni intellectual from Pakistan, made the remarks during a gathering honoring the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
The scholar also affirmed that Iran, under its new leadership, is now actively shaping the emerging world order—not the United States.
'Karbala witnessed in action, not just in history books'
Dr. Siddiqui began his address by drawing a powerful spiritual parallel between the late Imam Khamenei's sacrifice and the immortal stand of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) at Karbala.
"The late Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, walked the path of Karbala and made such a great sacrifice that he revived the memory of Karbala for us," the scholar said.
"We had read about Karbala in history books, but today we witnessed it in practice," he added, in an apparent reference to the Imam's martyrdom and the subsequent resilience of the Islamic Republic.
'Iran's full control over Hormuz has sunk US global order'
The Pakistani scholar then turned to geostrategic realities, delivering a sharp assessment of the balance of power in West Asia.
"Iran's complete dominance over the Strait of Hormuz and America's inability to challenge it has drowned America's new world order in the waters of Hormuz," Dr. Siddiqui declared.
He continued: "It is now Iran that is shaping the new world order—not the United States. The era of American bullying has come to an end. Through the Strait of Hormuz, only those whom we allow will pass."
The Strait of Hormuz, through which approximately one-fifth of the world's petroleum passes, has long been a critical chokepoint where Iran has demonstrated its naval and missile capabilities in response to Western military pressures.
'Iran's resistance has emboldened the world against US hegemony'
Dr. Siddiqui also praised the leadership of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, describing him as a courageous and steadfast figure who has exposed American arrogance on the global stage.
"Iran, under his leadership, has stood bravely and steadfastly against the United States and has exposed its true face," he said.
The scholar argued that Iran's defiance has had a ripple effect far beyond its borders.
"This steadfastness has given courage to other nations of the world to say 'no' to America's hegemonic and domineering policies," he explained. "That is why today, countries like Britain, Spain, Germany, and even NATO are showing resistance to American demands."
'Leader of the entire Islamic nation'
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Siddiqui emphasized that Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei is not merely the Leader of Iran but the Leader of the entire Islamic Ummah.
"Given that he is the son of such a great personality, such brave and authoritative leadership is entirely natural and expected from him," the scholar stated.
